About the Garden

A garden built from a bare undeveloped paddock over the past ten years. We had a complete blank canvas not a tree or plant was on site. Bill designed the layout, Eileen added the planting and our son Martyn built the hard landscaping. Now we have a 1 3/4 acre garden with interest throughout the year. Conifers, evergreens, hedges are the bones of the garden. Features such as the Tudor folly, lily pond, Betula Jaquemonte copse, pergola and jungle hut add the structure whilst colour is added by a varied range of planting.
